Northwest Irish Dancing Championships

Held over the course of two days, last year in the Millennium Forum, the Northwest Championships is among the largest in the world and a real focal point for traditional Irish dancing and associated pastimes.

Registered with An Coimisiun le Rince Gaelacha, the Championships bring over one thousand people from across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA to compete to be crowned Northwest Champions.

The winners of each category in the Championships is selected to compete in the all Ireland Championships which gives them the opportunity to compete in the World Championships.
